Books Mounting on My Bedside Table...
As I’m sure your scenario looks quite similar to mine, I know my excuses are mounting. With working, raising my two children, being married, being social, there is barely any time for reading. A past time I have always savored fully. And with a pile of books stacking up on my bedside table and a list collecting in my checkout tab of Amazon, I realized those books were never going to be read. Therefore, I started thinking how often I’m in the car, in carpool, in traffic or traveling. Hence, the idea of “Audibles” surfaced! And who doesn’t love a modern-day solution? With the added bonus of saving space (Kon Mari approved)! So naturally, I am feeling renewed and completely inspired by this possibility. I cannot wait to read, or rather listen to, a slew of books that are surely meant to inspire and fuel my curiosity into the next book and so on.
So without further ado, this list rang true for me at this juncture in my life. I hope you find yourself reading/listening to several off this list. And please offer your feedback in case you’ve read any of them or plan to do so in the near future. I would love your feedback as I navigate this list as well.
My current list, includes:
Atomic Habits, by James Clear
Bad Blood, by John Carreyrou
Bird by Bird, by Anne Lamott
